Let the decorating begin!
Steve started by putting up Christmas lights outside our home. With the garage and front door now adorned with lights, the two of us set our sights on our living room.
Candles, snowmen, twinkle lights, and a Christmas Moose have turned my living room into an explosion of lights, colour and sound. Of course I had to bake some yummy cookies!!
My Christmas Tree. Hmmm....looking at this pic, my tree looks a wee bit crooked....
Just need to hang the stockings!
Christmas Moose. Annie the cat used to sit on Moose's head when she was a baby. I think that may be why his ears are a little bit squished now.
Yep, Christmas Spirit has invaded my house. I love it!!

Hey, I recognize a couple of those snowmen from my house! They are so whimsical, especially the lop eared moose. I have a moose rowing a handmade canoe that Gina bought for us when she lived way up north. You've done a great job of decorating, it looks so Christmas-y! And I'm so proud of you that you've baked cookies already. I didn't know if you were into baking (as one of your maternal relatives ARE NOT). I was actually wanting to invite you over to do some baking. I don't have anyone to put an apron on with me. We could put on a pot of soup and spend a day in domestic bliss. Do you have a favorite cookie recipe?

ReplyDeleteI don't really have a favourite recipe, I just bake when I am in the mood. Steve loves banana bread and oatmeal raisin cookies, so I often bake those.
What day works best for you? You may have a little 6 month old there too.....
