Time for a Change

Steve and I bought our home a little over two years ago and have really only begun to make some cosmetic changes.  We love our home, but the beige in our house had to go!  Beige walls, carpet, furniture...We needed colour.  Well, colour we got!
I wasn't too sure about this colour at first, but my hubby loved it, and I decided I'd just have to wait and see...

Work, work, work!

Today, it was finally all done.  Steve worked really hard to get all the painting done and then moved all the furniture around and hung up a few pictures.  Here is the result...

All done!  So, what do you think?

Now Steve is painting the dining room...pictures to follow!

    Job well done! This is my first glimpse into your home and I really like it. It looks really fresh. Good choice for your color. Just as soon as you put your creativity and sweat into your house it takes on a new feeling of ownership and pride, don't you think??? You've invested yourself and that is when a house really starts to become a home... Nice hutch, by the way! I had been looking to buy one about a year ago so I could paint it white but ended up buying a really dark wood and keeping it that way. It's such fun to decorate and see the rooms come to life! And I think it is so cool that you have black appliances in the kitchen. Cute place.
